Head of Sales

GIFT.ed is currently looking for an experienced, passionate, and creative Head of Sales to join our dynamic, high-growth digital learning company. In this important role you will report directly to the CEO, have significant interaction with the senior management team and will be a key player in our next phase of growth by leading all sales related activities.

As Head of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that enhance and sustain strong business growth. You will lead the development of commercial models, grow and provide leadership to the sales team, manage the overall sales operations and establish relationships with existing and potential clients and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with GIFT.ed’s business goals and objectives.

  • Identify and target key client segments, create lead generation processes, and oversee customer acquisition efforts.

  • Own the inbound and outbound lead generation activities and drive the sales pipeline.

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, ensuring their successful adoption of GIFT.ed’s product, and driving customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Develop and implement client onboarding and activation strategies.

  • Leading partner-related outreach and communications to build a global network of like-minded knowledge and learning partners, including from GIFT’s existing network of mission-aligned public, private and civil sector organisations.

  • Working closely with the CEO, Strategy Advisor, Curriculum, Content and Product Teams to develop a knowledge and learning partnerships strategy in line with GIFT.ed’s product and curriculum roadmaps.

  • Work closely with other functions to drive marketing initiatives.

  • Any other responsibilities deemed necessary to ensure sales targets are met.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience with a track record in driving transformative business growth, including experiences in strategic relationship management and/or knowledge partnership management.

  • Bachelor’s degree (in business, education, international relations, sales and marketing, engineering, natural or social sciences preferred).

  • MBA will be an added advantage.

  • Experience in dealing with Head of L&D, HR leads and corporate learning partners around Asia.

  • Familiarity in digital marketplaces and products – experiences and interest in EdTech, corporate learning is an added advantage.

  • Keen interest in topics central to our curriculum e.g. the emergence of a post-Western world, socio-economic development, globalisation, sustainability, geopolitics, and the evolving roles of business, government, and civil society aligned to GIFT’s ethos.

  • Commercial acumen and sound decision-making – able to quickly form hypotheses and articulate convincing, insight-based, customer-centric story.

  • Analytical and results oriented - structured thinker who places emphasis on data-driven decision-making.
